Hello, I’m Vanessa Upkins, Bible teacher and founder of My Bible Life. My heart is to help people understand the Bible in a simple, practical way so they can grow closer to God, live their faith with confidence, and recognize the next faithful step He is calling them to take.
My Story
God has led this ministry one faithful step at a time.
My Bible Life did not begin with a website, a podcast, or a YouTube channel. It began with a simple desire to help people draw closer to God through Scripture and prayer. Over time, God connected the dots. He led me one step to the next—from a prayer circle, to Prayer and Bible Study, to audio Bible teaching, and eventually to the growing My Bible Life ministry you see today.
Looking back, I see that God rarely showed me the whole path at once. He simply kept inviting me to take the next faithful step. That experience now shapes how I teach and encourage others: begin where you are, open your Bible with me, and trust God to guide you to what comes next.
